Overview

You can export the FEDA data or a Project from AQ to Add new items or to update their pricing. You can even export your TRX data to be imported into AQ, Update the Pricing in AQ, then Export to update in TRX.

Export from TRX and Import into AQ

Use the “Add New Items” and “Update Prices” checkboxes to select if you are adding or Updating. If you are adding, the To quickly update data manually, we will start by exporting the TRX data in a format that AQ can read.

1. Create TRX Export

   1. Go to INV>INV Special Functions>Export Data

   2. Follow Guide to Create a Template: Export Data

   3. Use the Fields: Line_No, Quantity, Description, Manufacturer, Model Number

2. Import into AQ

   1. Remove Header from Export File

   2. Import using KCL Import in AQ

Add New Items

You can add new items by using an AQ Project or AQ FEDA export. The Item Category field, Class field, and Attributes checkboxes will appear . If you are updating, checkboxes to select which item details get updated will appear.once you select the Checkbox.

1. Select “Add New Items” Checkbox

2. Select the correct file type: “AQ Project” or “AQ FEDA”

2. Hit Browse to find your file

1. 1. If you get an error when you select the file, you may need to move the file to another folder on your machine

After everything is selected and correct, hit the Lightning Bolt to process.

Update Prices

You can update items by using an AQ Project or AQ FEDA export. Checkboxes to select which item details get updated will appear once you select the Checkbox.

1. Select “Update Prices” checkbox

2. Select file type: “AQ Project” or “AQ FEDA”

3. Hit Browse to find your file

   1. Error: Move file or remove any apostrophes

4. Select which data will get updated

5. Hit Lightning Bolt to Add Update Items
