Overview

The outstanding transactions screen can be used for those banking transactions that occurred prior to using TRX Enterprise, but that have not yet been reconciled. Entries to bank accounts as the result of transactions from A/P or A/R cannot be viewed or modified using this screen but any previous outstanding transactions can be edited here. Typically, this screen is used initially when creating bank accounts to enter the current balance for the first reconciliation. Once an account is successfully reconciled using TRX Enterprise this screen should not be used much if at all.

  • Choose the correct bank account using the Bank Account pull down list. Any existing outstanding transactions for the account are displayed.

  • Enter the outstanding transactions. Choose either Deposit or Check for each transaction. Check number is normally left blank for deposits.

  • Enter a short description for the transaction. Typically the vendor name is used for checks and the source of the deposit is used.

  • Enter the dollar amount of the transaction. Checks will be converted to negative numbers automatically.

To delete a transaction, simply click once on the transaction, then click on the delete icon on the toolbar.
