The second half of expense entry is to process the expenses. Expenses will not post to the project until they are processed. This is used as a control point by many companies. You can grant access to specific user groups to be able to just enter expenses but not process them to ensure that processing can only be accomplished by users with a higher level of authority.
- Starting Project – The first project that you want to process expenses for.
- Ending Project – The last project that you want to process expenses for.
- User ID – If you would like to process expenses for a specific user you can enter a User ID here. Leaving this field blank will process expenses entered by all users.
Once you process you will get a report that will display the expenses you are about to process.
After processing you will be able to see the expenses that posted to the project in the expense tab of the individual project.
