Find and Post Prior GL Transactions

In the subledger status screen, we let you know if there are unposted transactions from a prior date. From there, you need to find the transactions and post them. If there are some from several months back, and it can be hard to isolate it.

Finding Prior Unposted Periods

  1. Open the GL Processing screen

    1. [Module]>G/L Period Processing – EX: INV>G/L Period Processing

  2. Clear out the Dates

  3. Hit Print

Posting Prior Periods

Once you know which months to post to, we will need to make sure the period is open. Then post.

  1. Make sure period is open

    1. G/L>G/L Special Functions>Period Maintenance

    2. Click Open next to months you need to post to

  2. Post to the prior period

    1. Open the GL Processing screen

      1. [Module]>G/L Period Processing – EX: INV>G/L Period Processing

    2. Enter month to post (Only 1 month at a time)

    3. Hit the Post button

    4. Hit Yes to the prompt

  3. Repeat for any other Months/Modules that need to be posted
