Recurring Journal Entries

Overview

The Recurring Journal Entries section of the menu provides the ability to set up recurring journal entries, print copies of these entries and process them.
Recurring journal entries are processed separately and must be set up in the Recurring Journal Entry maintenance screen before processing can begin. Setting up recurring entries saves data entry time for routine entries. After set up is complete, the entry will be processed in the General Ledger at each chosen interval. 
Note: You must be processing into the current period. If it is not the current period you will have to set it as such in Special Functions > Period Maintenance. Process the recurring entry and then return the current period to the correct month.
