AQ API Update Procedure

Overview

***As of 1/1/22, This replaces the AQ Sync, as AQ turned off their FEDA Export***

For the FEDA API Update Procedure, See

The AQ API Screens allow you to pull the data directly from AQ. This saves the need for moving files around, but does require upkeep/management before you can run the update.

This guide assumes your inventory is properly setup and linked with AQ.

Please see the guide if you are having issues seeing your manufacturers or items.

Automate First to Steps < 20k Item Catalogs - Requires v2022.2.1 or later

With version V2022.2.1, we added a “Nightly Price Checks” button to the AQ Setup screen. This will run the first and second step automatically for most of the Manufacturers. Manufacturers with > 20k items will need their catalogs downloaded in the Product Code screen. You can then Update pricing.

Updating Last Updated Date / Manufacturer List

To start, you will need to use the “Download” button on the API>Auto Quotes>Manufacturers screen. This replaces what you would run in the DBA Admin screen.

API>Auto Quotes>Manufacturers

Update Manufacturer Data

After updating the Manufacturer header data, we still need to sync the Manufacturers with updated items.

Under API>Auto Quotes>Product Console, it lists of your MFG’s. Hit the “Download” button on any you want to update. This replaces the “AQ API” button after Syncing in the old method.

This may take a few minutes, so if it is spinning, just let it run. If you start clicking, it may seem like the page froze, but it is likely still running.

Once it says it finished, the prices should be up-to-date.

Updating Pricing

From here, use the “Sync” button to open the update screen. This works the same as the previous version.
