Overview

The Segment Maintenance screen is used to define detailed information for all Branches' and Divisions that are going to be entered in the General Ledger set up screen. These segments must be defined before setting up the chart of accounts. This screen takes on the name of the Branch or Division and creates options for each in the General Ledger Setup screen.

Detail

• Select Branch or Division from the drop down box to begin setting up codes for the selected area.

• Enter the Branch or Division code (can be alpha or numeric).

• Enter the descriptions for the Branch or division codes.

• Continue entering all codes for each segment until complete.

Note: This Screen will only be used during company setup
