Create G/L CSV File

Overview

If problems arise during the Month End Close, or you just want to have more flexibility in your search through the G/L data, you can create an Excel file from the G/L data. In Excel you will have the ability to manipulate how the data is displayed as well as erase and hide the information you do not need. This will allow you to limit your search to only the data that you want to see. You can sort by both G/L and Account description, G/L account, Batch Date, Reference, User ID, Timestamp and amount. This will give you greater flexibility.

G/L > Month End Processing > Create G/L CSV File
  1. Choose the Starting and Ending date range for the report.

  2. Press the Create File button.

     3. Select the destination for the Excel file. (your desktop is advisable)

     4. Open the file.
