Detail

Manufacturer and Custom AQ Vendor Setup

Under INV>INV Special Functions>INV Definitions, there is a Manufacturer tab, where you can create your Manufacturers.
You can also set a TRX MFG for Custom AQ Vendors. When you import a Project the Custom Vendor, it will show up under the AQ Custom Vendor Cross Reference section.

AQ Cross Reference - Project Setup

Under PJA>PJA Special Functions>AQ Setup, there is a Manufacturers tab, where you set which TRX Vendor is associated with the Manufacturer.

Item Manufacturer Setup

Under INV>Enter/Change Items, you will need to make sure your items are setup with the correct Manufacturer and Vendor to Sync with AQ. Under the general tab, you will set the Manufacturer.

Item Vendor Setup

Under the Vendor tab, you will need to have the Vendor from the cross reference here for it to Sync. You can have more Vendors than that, but you need to have the cross reference Vendor for the AQ sync to work.

Completed Setup

When everything is set properly, the AQ Sync should work without issue. If you set this and still have issues, there are a few tools to help fix.

Sync Screens under INV (Obsolete)

Issue 1: Can't get item to show, even with MFG and Vendor set

When everything is set properly, the AQ Sync should work without issue. If you set this and still have issues, there are a few tools to help fix.

Solution 1: Unmatched AQ MFG Number

If the item is setup, but it still isn't showing in the update screen, it is possible there is an issue with the Part number. When you open the Sync screen under INV>AQ Interface>AQ Sync Inventory and hit the items button next to your manufacturer, there is an "Unmatched" tab. This tab will show you possible part number issues, and it will allow you to update the item number by hitting the "Tie to AQ Item" button.

Solution 2: Mix-Match AQ UOM

If you aren't seeing it under Unmatched, check if the UOM is off. Click the "Mix-Match AQ UOM Items" Checkbox to see what doesn't match. You can review which UOMs are off and select which units you want to update to fix the record. From there, you need to run the "AQ UOM" update on the manufacturer using the sync button to have them come up.

Issue 2: Price was updated, but it won't come up

Solution 1: Re-sync Items

When a manufacturer does a price update, it can take a full day before it appears in the AQ data. Until then, we can't pull the info. If it has loaded, you may need to re-sync the item. Hit the Sync button on the update screen, and select "AQ API".

Solution 2: Re-confirm Setup

If you ran the AQ API and still aren't seeing the item, reconfirm the cross-reference and item setup.
