Customer Aging

Overview

The Customer Aging report will print all the open documents for your customers. You have many different options to narrow down the criteria and change how it calculates.

  • Starting/Ending Territory - Sets the range of territories on the report. You can use F9 to find it, manually enter, or leave blank to select all

    • Territory Sub-Totals - This checkbox sets whether or not the report will subtotal by Territory

  • Starting/Ending Customer Type - Sets the range of territories on the report. You can use F9 to find it, manually enter, or leave blank to select all

    • Type Sub-Totals - This checkbox sets whether or not the report will subtotal by Type

  • Starting/Ending Customer - Sets the range of Customers on the report. You can use F9 to find it, manually enter, or leave blank to select all. The List button will allow you to create a custom group

  • Starting/Ending Salesperson - Sets the range of Customers on the report. You can use F9 to find it, manually enter, or leave blank to select all. The List button will allow you to create a custom group

    • Salesman Sub-Totals - This checkbox sets whether or not the report will subtotal by Salesperson

  • Sort Customers By - This dropdown selects how you sort the Customers. By Customer Name or Customer Number

  • AR Subledger - This dropdown allows you to narrow down to a an AR Subledger, setup under G/L

  • Aging Date - The Aging Date for the report

  • Include Terms - This checkbox will include the terms used on the Invoices

  • Include Phone - This checkbox will include the Customer Phone number on the report

  • Include Retainage - This checkbox will include Retainage amount on the report

  • Only customers with overdue balances - Only print customers with overdue balances

  • Include invoices after aging date - This checkbox will include Invoices after the aging date

  • Collections Only - Print Only documents sent to collections

  • Print Document Notes - Print the document notes from the Invoices

  • Customer Layering - This checkbox allows you to use the customer layering feature.

  • Customer Layering - This button pulls up the Customer Layering selection

  • Report on Layer - This dropdown lets you select the layer without using the Customer Layering selection

  • Salesperson - These radio buttons change how the selected Salesperson fields work

    • Customer Salesperson - Salesperson will be pulled based on the Customer Salesperson setup

    • Invoice Salesperson - Salesperson will be pulled based on the Invoice Salesperson

  • Aging Report Format - These radio buttons change how the report prints

    • Aging Summary - Prints report totaled by customer, without Invoice detail

    • Aging Detail - Prints report with all the Invoice, Credit, and Debit detail

  • Base Aging On - These radio buttons change how the report is calculated

    • Invoice Date - Aging will be based on the date of the invoice

    • Due Date - Aging will be based on Invoice Date plus terms to determine the due date

      • e.g. Net 30 would be due 30 days after the invoice
