User Locking Order from Shipment

Problem

Trying to ship out Order, but it says a user is locking the record. The user doesn’t currently have the Sales Order open. Need to unlock to Ship.

Solution

The User in the error message needs to open the Sales Order, Save, then exit to unlock the order.

  1. Open the Order

    1. ORD>Order Query/Change

    2. Type in the Order number and hit Enter

  2. Save the Order

    1. Hit the Save Icon or hit F10

  3. Close the Order

    1. Hit the Red Door
